Raymondskill Falls is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, but the hike to see it is short, scenic, and beginner-friendly. In this guide, I’ll show you the easy way to do the Raymondskill Falls loop, with tips on where to park, what to expect on the trail, and how to see all three tiers without the crowds or confusion.
Where is Raymondskill Falls?

Raymondskill Falls is extremely popular. I'd recommend starting the hike very early in the morning (as close to sunrise as possible) to avoid the crowds and get a parking spot. There's no parking on the narrow road, so if you can't find a spot, you just have to wait for one to open.

Gear Recommendations
You don’t need any special gear to visit Raymondskill Falls. The trail is short and well-maintained, just wear comfortable shoes with some grip.

Why is it called Raymondskill? "Kill" is the Dutch word for creek, and Raymond is likely an early settler. These falls are on Raymondskill Creek.
